We ask you to please save the date! Our next Community Day at Monical's is October 27, 2009. Eating at participating Monical’s on October 27 is one way to help raise funds for Truth 103. Simply download our Community Day flier*, print it and present it with your order at a participating Monical’s Restaurant (Clinton, El Paso, Morton, Normal and both Bloomington locations) on Tuesday, October 27. Monical’s will donate 20% of your (pre-tax) check to Truth 103. This is valid from open to close on October 27, carry-out or dine-in only (not valid on delivery orders). So invite your friends (make sure each one has a flier*) or take your family and eat lunch or eat dinner (or maybe both meals) at Monical’s on October 27. Menu items include pizza (they are known for their thin crust), pasta, breadsticks, salads and sandwiches. Monies from this fundraiser will go toward day to day operation of the station.
*About the flier: If you are unable to print a flier, Monical's gave us a few hundred fliers. Let us know if you would like to pick up one or more fliers by calling us at 807-0105 or by sending an e-mail (to our pledge address). You can help us put them in as many hands as possible, with two exceptions. Fliers may not be distributed inside the restaurant or in the restaurant parking lot, nor stuffed in mailboxes (mail them properly).
Our Community Day fundraiser is just that - one day - but the calendar says there are several more. Truth 103 needs your help to cover these days with prayer and tax deductible gifts. Please pray about how you can get involved. United Way campaigns!
United Way helps the community. United Way campaigns help local not for profit organizations like your only local Christian radio station, Truth 103. You can be confident that the monies will go where you want them to when your employer asks you to give to United Way campaigns. You can designate your gift to Truth 103. Simply write in Truth 103 on your form. Truth 103 will then receive a check once or twice a year, depending on the size of the gift. All monies go toward day to day operation of the station.
Filling up the tank and shopping (at Meijer)!
Meijer is the place to go for fuel and groceries, clothes, items for your home, toys and more. Fueling up at Meijer gas station, shopping at Meijer stores or the online store (http://www.meijer.com) or the convenient store are all ways to help Truth 103. We are enrolled in Meijer Community Rewards. We need you to enroll, and actively participate when you get your Meijer Rewards card. The card is not a credit card. It keeps track of how many rewards Truth 103 has.
When you enroll, use our organization code (#421886), and Meijer will give us a percentage of your purchases made at Meijer, whether online, in retail store or in convenient store. Simply scan your card before paying with cash or PIN-based debit (enter PIN on keypad at convenience store or retail store). For gas station/convenience store purchases, you will need to pay inside (with cash or PIN debit) in order for the purchase to benefit Truth 103.
If you have not enrolled, please do so today at Meijer.com. If you are enrolled, you may want to sign in at http://www.meijer.com and check your information to make sure your name and address are current, and to see if your account activity is accurate. Also, you will need to re-enroll if you did not do so when the program changed (a year after we enrolled). This is easy, and will only take a couple of minutes, so please re-enroll today. The faster you enroll or re-enroll and actively participate, the faster we can get our rewards (check). All rewards checks go toward day to day operation of the station.

Maybe you heard a song you liked on Truth 103 and you want to get that song. Please check for it on iTunes. iTunes offers music, videos and movies. Purchases made through our iTunes link (located on our iTunes page) help Truth 103. When you use our iTunes link, another window (the iTunes site) will open and you are on your way to finding that song. Do this each time you want to go to iTunes and your purchase will help Truth 103. It is that easy!
