Although there are some similarities, underwriting/sponsorship announcements are not the same as commercial advertisements.

Underwriting/Sponsorship announcements do not contain the following:
comparitives or descriptives
("The best"), ("The finest"), ("largest"), ("Personal service"), ("Super savings"), (Friendly and professional");
calls to action
("Stop in today"), ("Call 123-4567") ("See us...") ("Check out our...");
sales or prices
("Free..."), ("Get 50% off...") ("Only $19.95").
Exception: If your organization is a non-profit, promoting a concert/event; then ticket prices can be mentioned.

How underwriting/sponsorship works for you, a business owner
In exchange for your tax-deductible donation, TRUTH 103 can offer your business airtime in the form of underwriting announcements/on-air mentions. Your business name, location, phone number, web address and specialization (the service you offer) are featured in every on-air announcement/mention. You may include the number of years of service in your announcement ("40 years in business"), ("18 years experience"). You might be able to include your business slogan (if it is not a call to action; "Get Met. It pays." would be prohibited but "Caring for all of God's creatures" would be allowed).

How underwriting/sponsorship works for you, a concert or event promoter
In exchange for your tax-deductible donation, TRUTH 103 can offer airtime in the form of concert or event announcements. Concert tour name, artist roster, date, time, location, applicable phone number(s), web address, ticket details, and name of the promoting (sponsoring) organization can be featured in every concert or event announcement.

TRUTH 103 is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, non-commercial listener-supported local radio broadcast ministry. Unlike some Christian stations, TRUTH 103 is independently owned and operated (not owned or operated by any church). The ministry is also not financially supported by any church. Listeners like you keep this local radio ministry going year-round. Some contributions are made at various times throughout the year. Other contributions are the result of monthly pledges made during spring and fall fund drives. And still others are the result of one-time pledges made during spring and fall fund drives.
