· What is Truth 103?
Truth 103 is a listener supported Christian radio station targeted toward the youth and young adults (the younger generation), that features an upbeat variety of contemporary Christian music and programs for youth, as well as a few teaching programs for all. From its studios in Bloomington, Illinois, Christian Music Radio Truth 103 broadcasts (24/7) to Bloomington-Normal at 103.3 FM and broadcasts via online at truth103.com (24/7).
· What is Truth 103's mission?
The mission of Truth 103 is to spread the Gospel to everyone through music.
· How did Truth 103 begin?
Truth 103 began with a nearly life-long dream of one person. This dreamer met another dreamer and then they met yet another, and then the plans for a radio station in Bloomington began. In order to apply for the frequency of 103.3 LPFM, the three dreamers formed Rock In Victory Ministries, Inc. (RIVMINC) in February of 2000. In August of 2004, RIVMINC (doing business as Truth 103) applied for the call letters WEWT (We Educate With Truth) for 103.3 LPFM in Bloomington. The proper licenses were applied for and granted, and Truth 103 was ready to make its debut. The dream became a reality when Truth 103 first hit the airwaves (a new station for a new season) on September 21, 2004.
